Is there any significance to certain gematria number combinations?

In the world of Kabbalah, there is a system of numerology referred to as Gematria. This system assigns numerical values to letters of the Hebrew alphabet to create numeric equivalents for words, names and phrases. It looks at nuances between the words; some that may not be immediately obvious from their literal meanings. Many believe that certain combinations of these gematria numbers might have significant meaning or symbolism attached to them, particularly in relation to significant topics such as spirituality and prophecy.

Gematria has become an integral part of Jewish literature over the centuries and it is still used today when expounding on religious texts and attempting to glean other insights from what otherwise may seem confusing. The most famous example in English literature associated with Gematria is the use of "666" as a representation of evil or the Antichrist. While this may be its most notorious conceptualization, there may be other symbolic codes hidden in various text used by those familiar with Gematria..

For instance, a combination of two distinct numbers, such as 18 and 36, could potentially symbolize hopefulness and optimism since 18 has been related to chai (life) while 36 stands for "hear O Israel" (a sign of faith). A combination like 200 and 300 could signify perfection since those numbers together equate to 600 – which when tripled makes 1800 or Tav – the Hebrew letter associated with balance. Similarly, 13 and 40 have been associated with mourning because taken together they represent 530 for nun or 'fish' -the fish being one traditional signifier for sorrow or tears in Jewish tradition.
